Monique Pean, born in Washington D.C., founded her accessories company in 2006. In 2009, she was selected as on of the CFDA/VOGUE Fashion Fund (CVFF) winners. This competition in the fashion world is one of the most esteemed for designers with little practice in the industry. Also in 2009, Monique Pean's line of work was the beneficiary of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award for accessories.

 Monique Pean finds insight from her travels around the globe. Inspired by indigenous cultures, Monique creates jewelry that is socially and environmentally conscious.
